MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES AT FISHBURN CHURCH 

We have many opportunities for members or non-members to get involved at Fishburn Church.  Please consider using your God-given talents and spiritual gifts in any of these areas: 

Acolytes and Bible Bearers –Youth needed to carry in the Bible and light the candles in the beginning of the worship services each Sunday.  Contact Diane Corrado at 566-6570. 

Children’s Sunday School –Adults or teens are needed to teach and assist in children’s classes and help in the nursery.  Contact Gail Givens at 220-1202.

Children’s Church –Adults or teens are needed to assist with stories and crafts for the children while adults attend the worship services.  Contact Phyllis Eckert at 534-2779. 

Choir –Adults and Youth needed to sing in choirs, play special music, etc.  Contact Laura Achey  at 944-3524.

Drama –Actors and actresses are needed in skits and dramas during church services or special events (Easter, Christmas, etc.)  Also need assistance in making costumes, writing plays, building props, etc.  Contact Jean Ward at 533-6675.

Helping Hands –Assisting with minor home repairs, moving, lawn care, etc. for those members who are unable to.  Contact Nicole Borelli at 566-3159.

Home Communion –Visiting homes or nursing homes of shut-ins and administering communion.  Contact Anna Marie Hess at 521-0132. 

Host Ministry –Greeting people and passing out bulletins to those attending church services each Sunday morning.  Contact Nicole Borelli at 566-3159. 

Kitchen Committee –Help with preparing meals for medical students, funerals, special events at the church, etc.  Contact Rose Stine at 367-3684.  

Love, INC –Assist when needed in any capacity for this newly formed organization of all churches in the community (office, home repairs, food bank, transportation, etc).  Contact Anna Marie Hess at 521-0132. 

Media and Sound Technicians –Computer operators and sound board technicians are needed for Sunday morning and special events.  Contact Stan Snyder or Kathy Mitchell at 566-0489. 

Prayer Ministry –Help us to pray on Monday mornings for those in need.  Contact Jean Ward at 533-6675.

Praise Band -  Musicians and vocalists are needed for the Praise Band,  Contact Matt Edris at 533-6880.

Vacation Bible School –Help teach, assist with crafts, offer your special talents to the children’s summer program.  Contact Gail Givens at  220-1202.

Visitation to Shut-ins –Visit nursing homes and homes of shut-ins. Contact Anna Marie Hess at 521-0132. 

Van Transportation –Picking up and dropping off people to attend Sunday worship services.  Contact Carl Fasnacht at 534-1314.
