Joining the Church
Fishburn “Discovery” or New Membership Classes are offered each spring for 6 weeks in April and May. The weekly Sunday morning one hour class offers information about Fishburn Church and provides open discussions. A personal inventory is completed to find participant’s “Spiritual Gifts” to find areas of interest and opportunities for involvement in the church. A “New Member” ceremony is done in early June to welcome participants into the membership of Fishburn Church. A mentor (current member) is also provided to new members to help them feel welcome.
