Youth Sunday is June 3rd at 10:30 worship.   Those participating meet at 9:15 at the youth room for continental breakfast and instructions.

Adult Fireside Chats begin again in June.        Monday, June 11 is the first Chat.   Bring a dish to share (not dessert). We are reading the book "Blue Like Jazz". Go to Amazon.com to purchase or your favorite book store.

Special thanks to all who donated or gave time for Fun Fest.    God gave us beautiful weather and we had a terrific turnout. Over 150 kids attended. …And in the "pink corner," the bake sale table filled with yummy treats to benefit breast cancer sold out. $330 was raised.

Thursday, May 24th is the Flock Summer Camp Open House. Stop by to register for our School Age Summer Camp, (for Kindergarten up to 10 years of age) and the Youth Summer Enrichment Program (youth entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades.) Meet the staff and learn about the activities, field trips, bible study, and fun.

Sunday, June 10 after 10:30 worship will be the next Elder Care Seminar, “Hospice – How Things Have Changed.” Laurie Rhodes, Marketing Director for Hospice for All Seasons, will speak. 

The Community Education Liaison for Hospice for All Seasons, she has been in hospice nursing for 22 years.  Registration is necessary for the luncheon provided prior to the seminar.  Registration forms are in the 5/13 bulletin or in the Welcome Wing.

Vacation Bible School Registration !

Free Fishburn Community Garden Plots available!  This spring marks the second year of Fishburn's Community Garden.  The church's garden is located on the church grounds and is behind the row of pine trees off the back parking lot.  Garden plots are available to church members and people in the community (sizes are 5X5 or 5X10).  Garden fencing and water supply is provided for gardeners.  There are many people returning from last year's garden, and we hope to see many new faces this season.  Please sign-up in the Welcome Center or contact Corrie Edris at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Just a Reminder….

If you are interested in providing altar flowers for Sunday worship in memory of or in celebration of a loved one, can sign up in the Welcome Room.  Fill out an Altar Flower Order Form and drop it with your payment in the offering plate at least one week prior to the day you sign up for in the flower notebook
